Collision Course is one of Australia’s premier heavy music companies and we specialise in being champions for metal, punk, prog, hardcore, heavy rock and all associated genres.

Collision Course has a collective experience of more than twenty years working in heavy music - with bands on our client list including international acts such as I Prevail, Underoath, The Plot In You, Rise Against, Avenged Sevenfold, Steel Panther, Dance Gavin Dance, AFI and more, Australian acts like Twelve Foot Ninja, Windwaker, Gravemind, sleepmakeswaves, Dead Letter Circus, Voyager, as well as Tour PR for bands such as Sevendust, Meshuggah, Alter Bridge, Devin Townsend, Sleeping with Sirens, Steel Panther, Halestorm, I Prevail, Stick To Your Guns, The Acacia Strain, Knocked Loose and Touche Amore. We have released records for The Butterfly Effect - and have helped bands such as Twelve Foot Ninja, sleepmakeswaves and Dead Letter Circus garner ARIA Nominations for their records! We also run 24/7 Heavy Music Radio Station & App The Faction!

Collision Course founder Tim Price has been living and breathing heavy music since attending Big Day Out in 1999 - and founded Collision Course in 2013. Stephen Green joined Collision Course for its re-launch in 2015 and has been working in music marketing over a range of genres with his other companies SGC Media, Title Track and Minor//Major with 15 ARIA nominations, four top five albums and a range of other accolades in 2014 alone.

Now also on board is Ophelia Symons - who has joined the Collision Course staff, working with Tim across Collision Course's enviable metal PR client list as well as on The Faction, Australia’s biggest 24/7 heavy music radio station. Ophelia is a live music photographer and also works at one of Brisbane's best music venues, The Triffid. Being a live gig photographer, Ophelia thrives on high energy and lots of action when it comes to music. Some of Ophelia's favourite live music shoots include Circa Survive, Architects, Citizen, Ocean Grove, Basement and IDLES.

1. Heavy Music, regardless of its place on the genre spectrum, is about community. The fans get it and the bands get it. It’s important that you have a marketing team that gets it and knows that community and how to tap them. We understand the niches, the industry, the artists and how to get to those fans.

2. The integrity of the music is paramount. We are in it for the music and it’s important that you are too. We’re about working with artists and labels who want to build long-term careers and to take their genre forward, not just those who want a quick hit of stardom.

3. Marketing isn’t JUST about taking your record into a radio station or calling up a newspaper, as important as they are. Marketing is about getting the right people to hear your music and giving you the tools you need to succeed in this market, whether that’s advice on your social media, some contacts for live shows or assistance with strategic planning.
